I'm feeling just like you are. Looking for some answers but treatment isn't working. Did TMS and it helped alleviate some symptoms for a few days, but I went back down again. I feel like I'm done. So exhausted. Can we hang in there?

Yes. I know exactly what you mean. Im negotiating with the Divine at this point just to feel hope. I have been suffering from a constant state of panic attack that comes in like waves on the beach. Im exhausted, I feel my prayers are like hollow like im screaming into a void, im so tired I haven't slept in 4 days and I would sometimes catch myself asking God to just let me go

Are you feeling emotionally exhausted and like you've reached your limit?

You're definitely not alone in feeling this way. Many people with depression describe experiencing this profound sense of exhaustion that goes beyond just physical tiredness β€” it's an emotional and mental fatigue that can feel overwhelming.

A MyDepressionTeam member captured this feeling by saying, "Even though I sleep very well, I still feel physically exhausted." Another shared, "I am so tired, all the time! My brain is foggy, too."

This deep exhaustion is a real symptom of depression. It's not just about feeling sleepy β€” it's that bone-tired feeling where even simple tasks feel impossible. Some members describe it as feeling numb or withdrawn, where emotions feel dull or absent altogether.

What might help:

- Reaching out for support (which you're doing right now)
- Talking to your healthcare provider about how you're feeling
- Medication adjustments if side effects are contributing
- Small self-care steps when you can manage them

If you're having thoughts of wanting to end your life, please reach out immediately. You can contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 or chatting online.

You're not alone in this feeling, and support is available.
