I really agree with what everyone has been writing about self care. My solution to this problem that I have been going through is prayer and fasting from Matthew 17:9
Prayer and fasting are the only solution to my problem because of the constant stress and hearing voices that are not the Holy Spirit. Most of what I have been going through is a biblical problem that has been caused by people who are dwelling in darkness and wickedness that displeased God and Jesus Christ. I have been reading the Bible for solutions to my current problem. Ephesians 6:12 says: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities powers and the rulers of darkness of this age as well as the spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places . My problems are with demonic spirits as well as with the elite group of computer hackers and scammers who are responsible for scamming me out of a large sum of money years ago
People have also been using technology to infiltrate my entire life for going on 17 years now . Please keep me in your prayers because this is really serious πŸ™

What a wonderful and inspiring share! Your self-care routine sounds genuinely fulfilling, and it's clear you've found what works beautifully for you. 🌸

Self-care really is personal, and there's no one-size-fits-all approach when managing depression. The key is finding activities that bring even small moments of joy or calm.

Here are some self-care ideas that others with depression have found helpful:

- Moving your body β€” even gentle walks outside in nature
- Mindfulness practices β€” meditation, yoga, or simple breathing exercises
- Creative outlets β€” journaling, painting, gardening, or music
- Eating nourishing foods β€” small swaps can make a real difference
- Limiting screen time β€” especially social media
- Connecting with others β€” in whatever way feels comfortable
- Getting quality sleep β€” consistent bedtime routines help

A MyDepressionTeam member shared, *"I do mindfulness. I love it. It keeps me focused, and it's such a big help in the morning when I'm at my worst."*

Remember, even tiny steps count. Self-care isn't selfish β€” it's essential. And as you wisely noted, what works at 40 may look very different at 60!

For me I relax when I read a good book, listen to music or write.
