Not everyone gardens like me or takes nature walks, but we can always do something that helps.

Members shared a wide range of self-care practices in response to the question about meaningful ways to care for yourself, with journaling, prayer, music, and creative hobbies standing out as the most common answers. Several members described how diamond art painting, listening to favorite vinyls, and writing in decorated hand-written journals help quiet racing thoughts and bring peace during hard days. A recurring theme was the power of small, personal rituals, including online community connection, therapy, and setting boundaries to avoid burnout, as lifelines for those managing trauma, depression, and chronic stress.

Gayle,
It sounds like you are doing your best!
I do strongly focus on self-care.
I think that's how 'i got through all my shit--lots of it!

Here's a quote from my hand-written journal:
Evertime I want to apoligize for being "too much,
I remember when the Mad Hatter tells Alice
"You lost your muchness. You used to be much muchier."

And
Your next move matters more than your last mistake.
I like that one!
Have a great day!
Wen
