How Do You Express Yourself And Explain Why You Feel The Way You Feel Without Breaking Down?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

When I'm upset i just breakdown and am not able to communicate or ask for help, most of the time I just keep quiet as I feel like a burden.

Aww, you are not a burden, and communicating how you feel is the best way to get help and support. It's okay if you breakdown in doing so. You feel how you feel, and it's completely valid. Keeping it all inside is never a good thing! Everything with power inside needs some kind of vent so it doesn't overheat and catch fire or explode! Give people a chance to be there for you! You deserve caring and compassion, and support! Give yourself the gift of self-compassion by allowing someone to be there for you. So many people want to help, to be needed!
