I am having a hard time going to sleep at night. Right now I lay in bed for hours before falling asleep. Any advice on falling asleep faster would be much appreciated.

I don't fight sleep. I get up. I don't think there anything worse then laying in bed and trying to go to sleep. I've tried it and it's miserable. So I just get up. Read a book or write in my journal. I try to stay away from my phone or laptop unless I was in the middle of an email or letter to someone. I'm sorry I can't help with that.

Hi Cindy. I use to have that problem a lot. Until I talk to my doctor. Here I found out I had sleep apnea. I had to be tested for it. Since 2002 I have been on a c pack. Then 2017 I was put on a bi pak machine. I get a good night rest now. Have you try listening to sounds of a brook, birds, on that line. I wish you the best of luck. Talk to your doctor he may give you advice or order a sled study test. Hugs

I put on a sound machine for 30 minutes if I am awake to notice it going off I get up for a bit. Usually it works. Ocean sounds work best for me. Some time I just let myself daydream to pass the time. I think my neck is better if I lay down even if I can't sleep.
