How will i know if i have bi polar.i can suddenly go from ahigh gud mood stright to a low.plus i cry and don't know why and hear voices in my head.sometimes get abit suicidle.i don't socialize much and when i am at a high.i can do wild things.like spend lots of money when i shouldn't.i do thing and then recret it the next day and then feel so low.

Recently my long term partner broke up with me because they no longer were in love with me. In a conversation they told me two people with depression should probably have never been together. Is this a cop out or is there some truth in this? I always believed because we both suffered at different times we would be the best people to support each other as we really understood what the other was going through.

I am so angry. I hardly ever watch shows like Dr Phil because of the sensationalism. But yesterday I was scrolling thru the channels and saw he was interviewing a Bi Polar woman and a woman with DID. Well the family of the Bi Polar woman and the “Dr.”. went on to show a violent and abusive young woman who swung from depression to violence several times a day. Good Morning Everyone,
I've finally confronted / stood up to my Aunt that is bipolar thru a letter and she called my husband and claimed that she wasn't bipolar until after she had a surgery which im not really buying it.
I believe I know the answer to my question but just wanted to clarity it.
The Bipolar disorder is something you are born with and not developed right? Or developed after surgery ?

Yeah, the people Ive known it emerged in their early 20s. My depression started at age 13, but didn't come to cripple me til I was 36.
Mine is anxiety, depression, and PTSD. What other matches are out there? and what do you think the difference and the similarities are? like between someone with anxiety and depression, and someone with ODD and depression, or bipolar and depression?
