@A MyDepressionTeam Member I hope you have found some help with the sleep but if you haven’t try finding the right therapist and nurse therapist and I am wondering if you have been checked for sleep apnea? I was that way for many years and still have a problem very seldom. My therapist helps a lot and her and my nurse therapist decided what meds I needed to take after I was taken off Xanax that I had been on for about 15 years. I would go for days without sleep and then would finally fall into and exhausted sleep for a few hours and get up and go again. Are you seeing anyone for this problem if so are they helping you? If they aren’t helping it might mean you need to find someone new. Your body needs sleep and rest and you deserve it.
Good luck with finding who and what you need.
Hugs from Alabama.

You need a sleep routine. Dim the lights an hour before bed. Turn off your phone and TV too. Listen to some relaxing music and have some sleepy time tea.
I take melatonin before bed plus a prescription called trazodone. Praying helps me too.
Good luck!

Do you have a routine before bed? Sleepy time tea works well to calm the nerves, a hot bed, soft music, dim the lights, do relaxation exercises, praying also helps me.
