After having major problems in 2017 changing from Efexor-XR to Enlafax-XR, we want to try and get the process around funding of alternate brands of medication changed to make it less restrictive.
Please help by signing and sharing this petition.
There is also a Facebook page for people who have been affected by this - "ENLAFAX - problems with medication brand change NZ" please join if you have been or know of someone who was.

Find something to keep your physical self busy: clean the house, do the dishes, rake the yard, do laundry; or listen to music.
I've been taking olanzapine 2.5mg for nearly a year. I've gained alot of weight. I've been reading about haloperidol which doesn't increase weight. What do others think?
Hello,
Helen has started a petition to try and get our Government to take notice and start funding Effexor-XR again, Enlafax (the generic medication) has badly affected a lot of people but trying to get anything done about it is near impossible. Being on Effexor-XR is now very expensive as it is no longer funded at all, and many people with mental illness are on limited income.
Please sign and share this petition.
Thank you.

Hi. I suffer from major depression and anxiety and have suicidal thoughts nearly every day and I am wondering if ECT would be right for me. I'm on clonazepam aka klonopin for my anxiety and it seems to work quite well though I know they don't recommend taking it long term. I take a low dose of abilify and take 150mg of Zoloft each morning for my depression and I'm not sure if either 1 is working
Who do i talk to about the possibility of ECT? I see my psychiatrist for the first time tomorrow… read more
For me, ECT saved my life. I was diagnosed with Clinical/Severe Depression in 1997. Doctors had me try several different medicines but none helped ease my symptoms. This went on for three years. My… read more
Just started a new part time job and so far I do not like it. Barely any training, very stressful and I feel they expect too much of me. I was a temp at another location and had half the responsibilites there. I was much more happier as a temp. I hate having to clock in and out every day, hate all these Corporate emails about nonsense, having to do all these elearning stuff in a timely manner, completing an employee appraisal evauation, etc. all this stuff that comes with being an employee… read more
I agree with David Patterson. Don’t underestimate yourself ever. We have abilities. We haven’t yet even discovered about ourselves. I definitely understand. Hating a job. Right now I’m working as a… read more
I noticed my anxiety goes up during a certain time of the month. It could be partly hormones, but it doesn't help that I just don't feel good! But anyways, I think society in general doesn't talk a lot about periods or mental health, so mental health during "the curse" just isn't mentioned! So, feel free to discuss it here without judgement 😊
My monthly cycle was due today but it hasn't come yet

Great question, I also wanted to know that.
Hi People,
So I am curious, I have now had a IUD in for coming up 10 years (well technically this current one is my 2nd one) and I have been thinking I am going to need to have it removed next year - this causes me major fear as the first and second ones were both inserted under general anesthetic (I also had laparoscopies at the time), I have also never given birth and I am terrified about the pain of having it removed.
Also on doing a bit of reading this evening I have started to wonder if… read more
I think you should talk to a nurse or your doctor about your anxiety regarding this . Your fears may be unfounded and I am sure they will do what they can to make you comfortable.
