Just started a new part time job and so far I do not like it. Barely any training, very stressful and I feel they expect too much of me. I was a temp at another location and had half the responsibilites there. I was much more happier as a temp. I hate having to clock in and out every day, hate all these Corporate emails about nonsense, having to do all these elearning stuff in a timely manner, completing an employee appraisal evauation, etc. all this stuff that comes with being an employeeā¦ read more
If you don't like the job I would leave. Being miserable at work is just going to make you the same at home because you will be dreading the fact you have to go back to work again
Get out now, I started a job a few year's back now, I was there only a few day's and I realised how bad the environment was and should have left, however I needed the money and didn't want to be a "failure" again so I stuck it out I think for five or so month's, I nearly died as a result of it. I couldn't tolerate the crap that went on and nothing was done about it, the way we were treated/spoken to, the hour's, etc. I learn't a valuable lesson. If you can try and find something else - your life/well-being is far more important than a job.
Hi Lousia,
You don't have to give a reason, you can give your notice and leave.
I agree with David Patterson. Donāt underestimate yourself ever. We have abilities. We havenāt yet even discovered about ourselves. I definitely understand. Hating a job. Right now Iām working as a deli worker because I need the money. Itās a very greasy fast paced active job And I only get minimum wage. Funny enough, though, at the end of each day, when I realize I made it through another day, I get a sense of pride. Doing easy things is exactly that, easy. But when you can accomplish something thatās hard and not necessarily your cuppa tea, Thereās a special accomplishment that comes with that
If you're miserable then give your notice. If you need the money don't quit until you have another job.
