I want my momma and my "little" brother back.
We ate OOL, as my dad would say, Out of Luck!
Mom died in 2011.
Chris died one year later, in 2012.
I still miss them both every day.

That kind of grief β€” losing your dad and your beloved pets β€” is one of the heaviest things a person can carry. Those losses are so deeply personal, and it makes complete sense that your heart is breaking. πŸ’”

Grief and depression can intertwine in really painful ways, making everything feel heavier and harder to get through each day.

You don't have to carry this alone. A few things that might help:

- Talk to someone you trust β€” a friend, family member, or therapist
- Allow yourself to grieve β€” there's no timeline, and your feelings are valid
- Speak with your doctor β€” grief can deepen depression, and they can help adjust your support or treatment if needed

The love you have for your dad and your pets says so much about the kind of person you are. That love doesn't disappear β€” it stays with you, even when it hurts.

Please reach out to a mental health professional or a crisis line if the pain feels too overwhelming. You matter, and support is available. πŸ’™
