I have tried to do this before but it became overwhelming for me. I have tried journaling, little note pads with the date on it. I have thought about keeping a doc file open because I type so much quicker than I can write things out; but haven't done that as of yet.

Just was wondering if anyone had some advice on how I could do this easier than what I have tried numerous times before. I would appreciate any advice anyone has to offer. Thank you.

I have seen a lot of apps that do something like have to click a smiley type face for each day and then they have some key words to select from what's making you feel that way. I found that my therapist would like more information but they have limited time unless you want to pay for more. They ask what happened on a certain day and I can't remember. I think it would be better to write it in a notebook and write a little bit about, condensed version about what happened that day. I haven't been doing every day but if something noteworthy happens I write down something to help me remember. I write out little journal type notes on a notepad I have and just let my therapist review it. I don't keep them though.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Wow, I can't thank you enough!!!! Holy Smokes, they were both easy to install and I have already made out a list for the grocery items I need to get to make Poutine tomorrow to celebrate Dallas Cowboys 1st season game!!!! Your instructions were fabulous! It was like so easy to use after you explained it to me. I hope everyone that needs something like these two apps, reads this and is helped as much as I am!!!!! Thank you, thank you :)

@A MyDepressionTeam Member Sorry, when I first read this I thought you meant for tracking your mood. I guess I was half asleep still. I have a google document I call my memory Helper file lol I just put the date and anything that might be worth noting. I added a simple table with only rows to help keep the days separate. I try to keep it concise and then when I go to the doctor I make a list with just very concise bullet points that I give them so they can scan it and know exactly what I'm there for in just a few seconds. My document is for me so if they ask when something started I can look and see if I wrote it down. I added a little screen print to show you a sample. It's pretty simple but it works.

I also use Google Keep on my phone. The icon looks like a yellow light bulb and you can make notes or lists and change the colors. You can add tags to keep them organized and you can pin certain ones to the top. I have it on my laptop and on my phone so any notes I have will be in both places.

Hi Michelle, you just do the best you can, I guess . . I don't ever get to the point of actually noting it . . I keep thinking that I will but I never do get to it because of everything else I'm trying to do . . My best peace, love, and good vibes to you, friend! . . Sam . .
