Will this be available in the UK after a while,? I'm on quite a few meds

Currently, zuranolone was approved by the FDA in the US in 2023, but there's no confirmed timeline for UK availability yet. Regulatory approvals in the UK (via the MHRA) follow their own process, which can take time after US approval.

Since you're already on several medications, it's especially important to speak with your doctor before adding anything new. Zuranolone is a two-week treatment, but interactions with other medications are always a consideration worth discussing carefully.

In the meantime, there are other FDA-approved antidepressants that doctors commonly use, such as:

- SSRIs like fluoxetine (Prozac) or sertraline (Zoloft)
- Bupropion (Wellbutrin)
- Tricyclic antidepressants

Many of these are already widely available in the UK. Your doctor would be the best person to guide you on what fits safely alongside your current medications.
