All due respect to Community Standards, but there are many of us who share the same sentiments about the sh*tty state of our Country, resulting in deeper anxiety, leading to greater depression and fears. If we can't share what we're feeling here, I know both Faceplant and Don'tReadit (Reddit) can be seriously toxic social media platforms/environments, but it means a part of us has to keep it bottled up so as not to offend anyone. My stand? We're *all* adults, if we say anything, it should be said with respect for others and not disparaging members for their political viewpoints, no propagandizing or selling one side or the other.

I know of a couple of Teammates that share the same disgust with the squatter at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave with his golddigger arm candy, but I don't think I've ever made any posts that were solely along a political vein and if I did, I do apologize to all it may have upset.

John & Cyndi McCain are people that I admire a lot. She fed hungry people internationally. John McCain was a POW and refused release (after being tortured daily) because the release didn't include his men.
They were incredible people. Cyndi still is!

Now I do post news but in a very narrow way. I find 'news' on research for mental health nutrition and mental health related topics and occasionally refer to them if it is for the good of all.

Your welcome!
I'm new to sharing my views too.
I kept quiet for my years in sales and my first husband (now an ex) made me feel stupid when I disagreed with him a lot!
At least he was never a Trump fan,
but drove me crazy with an almost worship of Rush Limbaugh!
i have learned that I was never stupid and my own views are valid.
Thanks for playing!

But it's deeper than that. A country gets the leadership it deserves. Apathy and ignorance, greed and fear breed a population so disconnected from one another that competition overrides and undercuts every cooperative attempt. Capitalism literally banks on that.

Democracy will never be clean until resource distribution is equitable, and that's as far from capitalism as imaginable.
