I mean you just dgaf if you alive or unalive. You have nothing worth living for.
No, Jim, I asked the question because I had no idea what it meant. . I don't know all of these initials that you kids use nowadays because I never heard of them or used them before, and people should be sensitive to the fact that not everyone knows these things, especially older people who should be respected just as the youth should be. . .Hey, as Mr. Dangerfield said many times in the Day, "Hey, I can't get no respect- take my wife, PLEASE!!". . Peace out, dude. . Cool π π Cat π πΊ. ..
The reason I say yes is because we can't know the user impact on others if we check out. I get almost resentful because when I'm low, I know this. It's because lady death in biochemistry of the brain doesn't like us to wake from her somnambulant state. It's temporary.
I recognized that I have the butterfly effect. Every little thing I do, even smile at a stranger potentially echos down the future in a positive way. I try to do little things in that basis because what can nudge us back into light can do it to others.
Sam, are you serious? You don't know "don't give a fu_k"? Or you just wanted someone to write it out for some strange reason. I can really relate to what Respect said. I am already forgetting and I'm still alive. Alot of folks reach a point where they are not really needed, but are wanted. I am neither. Really, if that were not true I would be getting company at least once in a great while. And maybe a couple of phone calls in a year's time. Don't really know why I keep fighting on, but I do, and I ask Respect to do the same. I mean, I'm sure Respect has more to look forward to than this 75year old, very lonely, wheelchair, can't bring myself to go anywhere person. Respect, if I can keep on keepin on,you sure can. God bless.
Laurie, I think of an invisible society too but then occasionally realize that as visual as our species is and dependent on eyesight and tiny detail we forget something. I forget. We all notice details, quirks, expressions, how a woman in the airport looks when she sees a child, a man with his wife, postures, tattoos, etc etc. that means THEY notice all sorts of details about. Expression, posture, features, gait, what we look at, quirks, etc. people who say they don't are fooling themselves. It's instinct for survival. Details in a bush that determines a hidden lion versus plant was hard earned in learning. We are NOT invisible. We tell ourselves we are. We are probably the most expressive people out there people see. We tell ourselves we are invisible, I think, to subvert our relevance.
All things are made with the seeds of their own destruction. So it is not as if we are different than one another or any other living thing. Depending on your belief system, we shed a broken 'house' and transform to something different. To some, it's a soul, others atoms, and others an intact consciousness with memory and yet others a collective source of light where all originates.
This whole line of existential thinking is one of the two branches of interest for almost everyone human. Sex and death. Does anyone care if you have sex? I suspect that depends on the manner of your actions regarding sex and who it affects. Does anyone care about your death? I'd suggest it's somewhat the same idea. I'd advance the notion that those who know us are small in number. Once they are gone, they and we quickly fade from living memory. That's not bad. That's a fact. But while they are alive, those few can be deeply affected by loss. In the butterfly effect or Karma, death can be a positive echo (release of pain or self sacrifice in saving lives) or a sledgehammer of negative that scars deeply.
So to answer the question, it's complicated but inevitable. Be a force for good no matter how small the acts do they echo through history to be, or scar others from a 'bad death' that arises from a temporary state of mind or evil intentions to harm.
