If you are not functioning very well because of mental illness. That's normal. Don't worry about what other people think.
I would say not being okay points you in the way of asking questions about yourself. And you really need to know about yourself what makes you tic so you can know the know how and why about you .So reaching out won,t hurt just make sure you feel safe with what and who you do the reaching to.Hope this helps a little.
