Been single 12 years. Now at age 57, how will i ever find a woman that will want me after surviving prostate cancer surgery on 2/14/17 and now with incontinence and not even sure about sexual function... No longer able to function at a job because of depression and other issues. Plus i have no money or income skills. ???

Members rallied around a question about loneliness and finding love after prostate cancer, with many sharing that they too feel deeply lonely after loss, divorce, illness, or trauma. Several members offered hope by sharing personal stories of finding connection later in life, and emphasized that companionship and love matter more than physical ability as people age. A recurring theme was the courage it takes to trust again, with many encouraging patience, honesty, and leaning on faith and community when romantic connection feels out of reach.

I was lonely for nearly 20 years and I kept thinking the same thing, Who is ever going to want me? I can’t work, I’m either really sick or in severe pain. But I found someone I’ve been with for a year and 1/2! He hasn’t been scared away yet. I do believe there someone out there for everyone.
