How many people on this site don't go to the top right of their page and check their notifications? That's why it's there. If any of your team members have put an 'update' or left a message for you, that's where you'll find it. PLEASE check it first . . before you ask a team member how they are because there's nothing more annoying, to me at any rate, than have someone ask me how I am when I've taken the time to leave an update telling you how I am.

Members responded to a post asking people to check notifications before asking teammates for updates, with many acknowledging they were guilty of skipping that step and offering sincere apologies. Several members shared their own perspectives, with some agreeing the reminder was fair while others felt that a simple, caring check-in message should always be welcome regardless of updates left. A recurring theme was grace and understanding for one another, with members recognizing that everyone is navigating depression and that no one means harm by reaching out.

I want ANYONE In and On My Team to Message Me Anytime, Day or Night, You Dont Have to Bother Checking My UpDates or Messages. I think of so many of you. Somedays i just dont feel like putting an update on my post, but i love hearing from everyone anytime, some times a little thoughtful note can bring a bad day upside right. .... i welcome all and thank you for being you and being so supportive and letting me know i am not alone in this struggle!

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I agree with you. Sometimes actions speaks louder then words. It will help lift your spirits knowing someone is thinking about you.

Thank you @A MyDepressionTeam Member, that is exactly what I was saying but I'm sorry because I posted it on a day when I wasn't feeling too great anyway and possibly more easily annoyed by things.
I certainly wasn't trying to be 'controlling'!

i did not read all the comments, but i pray none were hurtful, everyone has to do what works for them, but that is just how i see it. we are all on a team and here to be helpful not hurtful. i know i would never intentionally hurt anyone here.
