You have to remember there is no miracle pill. No HAPPY pill. The meds can only do so much. You have to HELP the meds help you. You may need to change meds. Only you and your doctor can decide that. That is why I feel that along with meds you still need support of some kind. Wether it be therapy, support group, or just a good friend to talk to. I know that is what has helped me. Good luck
I wish there was one too.
The medication is only a part of the journey. The part is just sheer determination on one's part to accept your challenges n try to learn as much as u can about the issues. Knowledge is power. Also make sure you congratulate yourself regularly as u r very brave n strong for living with any form of challenge n keeping going. Big hugs for u
I still feel depressed and anxious even though I am on medication. I have a history of self injurous behavior and find I am doing it more lately. I take the maximum dose of Pristiq, the maximum dose of Welbutrin and Xanax for break through anxiety. I am open to try anything. I bought a diffuser bracelet made of lava stones and essential oil for anxiety. I don't know if it is a placebo affect....believing it works because others have had good luck with it or there is something really to it. I don't care; I find there is a difference if I wear it. Things are starting to look up and going well. I find myself more depressed than ever. I am hoping going back to counseling will really work.
Sometimes maybe. I just want to be happy again. What to do.
