Can anyone give advice or direct me in the right direction when it comes to meditation? I feel strongly that this should be a part of my daily routine, but have no idea where to start.
I meditate daily and I know it helps me. I went to YouTube and tried different ones until I found ones that work for me. I like the ones by Wayne Dyer the best, but that's just me. I am usually only able to meditate once a day because of my schedule, and afternoon works best for me because I am usually feeling anxious by then. I encourage you to try it because I know how helpful it has been for me.
For me its sitting crossed leg back straight and feel your every breathe with no thoughts its hard my mind likes to wander..I do 2 to 5 minutes per day..im slowly trying to do it longer but it feels good to run away from my millions of thoughts that I have in my mind
There are a lot of guided meditations on YouTube and the app 'Insight Timer'. I like this app because afterwards, it tells you "you just meditated with Sarah from the north pole" or something. It shows a map of who is using which meditation.

Mindfulness meditation had been really helpful for me. The 'Smiling Mind' app is a good introduction to this. I also did a course on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction which helped me as well.
