One of the things I love about my family is that we love, we forgive, and we understand. My ex-husband is just as welcome at a Hilt family event as my brother. In many ways, they are still brothers and certainly family. I have beautiful memories of my mom Mae and Lorretta sitting together and chatting at holiday gatherings.
