Hi Justin, hey, I am so sorry that this happened to you, man . . I have never heard of anyone getting kicked off disability!! . . Is this Social Security Disability Insurance? . . Maybe this is one of the cruel things that The Big Fat Orange Turd has suggested or maybe he's dictated it, in order to get rid of the "fraud" within the Social Security Administration that he keeps making noises about(?) . . Anyway, it sucks for sure!! . . I'm on Social Security Disability Ins., and I'd be totally up shit creek shit if they kicked me off, especially as I'm already homeless, i.e. I don't get enough in my disability check to pay rent anywhere so far for the over 5 years that I've been on the streets since I was evicted from a house full of bedbugs and mice. . I was let go from jobs because of absences. After 25 years in the workforce, I applied for disability. Getting a job isn't the problem — it's being able to keep it."

If you've been cut off and want to reapply or appeal, here are some steps that can help:

- Appeal the decision — You have 60 days from your denial/termination letter to start the appeals process
- Gather strong documentation — Medical records, doctor's notes, and psychiatric evaluations showing how depression affects your ability to work
- Be honest and specific — Describe in detail how your condition limits daily functioning and employment
- Get professional help — A disability attorney or advocate can guide you, and many only charge fees if your case is approved
- Contact your local Social Security office — They can assist with reapplication directly Speaking with a social worker can also be incredibly helpful — they can connect you with additional community resources and support programs while you navigate this process.
