Pink Flowers
Walking has become a part of my healing process. I live out in rural Makanda, Illinois, near Cedar Lake. I have two dogs that love to walk. The roads around here remind me of my rural country life growing up. The dogs don’t see the familiarity of all this, but they are good companions on my daily walk.
I walk quietly listening to the tunes of the woods. They speak to me, and I watch as greenery crosses my field of view. As I walk past the dogs pull on the leash… read more

I may follow your lead. Right now, I'm not really writing much cause I'm outside in my flowers. I do write more in wintertime.
Prayer
Why so sad & blue…
When is your happiness due?
What causes you such pain…
Where is the joy you can gain?
Are you so afraid…
Of the life you have made?
What of Heavenly Father above…
Who brings peace on the wings of a dove?
Is everything in your past…
So bad no blessings can ever be cast?
Have you lost all hope…
Not knowing how to cope?
Being so depressed…
Your life is one big mess?
Don’t live in fear…
There is a way to get your life in gear!
Heavenly Father asks for us to pray..
He will give us hope in a new day.
Heavenly Father puts your life at ease…
Making your sorrows cease.
Lift your voice high…
To the heavens sky.
Pray with all your might…
For Heavenly Father to take away your fright.
Live your life in a new way…
Make prayer a part of your every day.
Making Repentance a part of prayer…
Heavenly Father will forgive your every error.
Your days will become blessed…
As you lift up to Heavenly Father all that makes you stressed.
Prayer is the way…
To new found miracles each day.
As you pray you must believe…
In faith the answer to your prayer you will receive.
Take up in prayer your sorrows…
For I promise you you’ll get joy for tomorrow.
