I listened to the "Star of the game" in Cardinal broadcasts featured Tony Gwynn, Mr. Padre. He led the league batting eight years and although he was well in front of the staff, he worked harder and was known to be generous and affable.

I have little motivation in my daily life except TO DO lists.
Some of motivation is at times having to push yourself and then the next time it can come more naturally. I think one has to just take advantage of the better days. Not everyday is the same and ultimately motivation comes by doing.

What a beautiful story about finding inspiration in Tony Gwynn's work ethic and character. Having a role model who embodies the qualities you aspire to can be incredibly motivating, especially when depression makes it hard to keep going.
