You did good. Have your phone on you, and call 911 if you feel threatened.

With regard to having all we would need, that is a tricky proposition. Indulge me on this. I often what it would mean if one could somehow heal others. The problem, I realized is that one doesn't know, yet must know, what the problem is. We see an effect and have a arbitrary name, not always a cause, let alone the specific cause.

How could I heal if I have no idea what I'm healing?

Wet gangrene, for example, does multiple things but one is creating a barrier that confuses a component of the immune system, neutrophils. Gangrene uses specific biochemical methods to confuse and block them so they can't get in there to tag and attack. In an anaerobic environment, the disease has specific mechanisms down to the molecular level to destroy cells. That is one type of gangrene in one type of environment. There are several types. Then there are thousands of diseases, thousands of disorders, injuries, complex interactions among conditions that have not been understood, let alone cured. There are six thousand genetic diseases and disorders.

No one person knows all these variables and how they work. Even AI, which is a marvel and far above humans accurate in its diagnoses, has to be programmed for each problem. This is just medicine. I know with psychiatric, the diagnoses continually evolve in the Diagnostic manuals and many are poorly understood in their complexity of cause and effect. Psychiatrists admit that drugs like Prozac are basically a shotgun effect on the brain and they are uncertain what all it effects. They know about reuptake inhibitors but not about everything else.

I find it a fascinating and giant check on wishing for things because you quickly realize that its not enough to say, for me, I have everything i need to heal. You must know what you are healing in all its complexity. So in turning over power to someone else, you are facing something wildly complex because we know only a name and the vaguest of what is behind it, not the mechanisms unless we dig very deep. Don't get me wrong, I get the idea of what you mean but that would create a need for knowledge so vast that one might not be able to cope. There are those that claim this though, Preachers in tents who claim divine power to heal laying on of hands. One must wryly smile, however, upon the realization that the staff keep away people with Lou Gehrig's disease, cerebral palsy, degenerative diseases and the like. Maybe they don't quite have everything they need. But I have often thought of being granted a wish, it would be able to heal others, though I realized I wouldn't begin to know how even if granted that power. I would, in this case, have the power, but not the faintest idea how to use it without potentially causing more harm.

Charity I do agree to some extent with you because I feel if we make the wrong decision we are doomed.
