I'm tired of living in the South. The red states are getting on my nerves.

Midterms (Voting πŸ—³οΈ for new Senators, House of Representatives) are coming up and states are updating (over to BLUE) 🟦 YEAH. In many cases Careful on time you move, and read or listen to news.

That depends on so many things to determine desirability

Average income

Climate as it affects you

services from providers you need

average education and separately literacy

crime rate and specific to the city you want.

Industries

Amount of people LEAVING the state and why

People coming to the state and why

Population most friendly and welcoming to lgbt or other groups (tells you a great deal about mindset regardless of your interest or affiliation)

Most cultures and artistic states

Tax rates income, property car tag, etc

Infrastructure like water quality

There are many factors that may appeal to you or deter you. These are big ones. Places like Louisiana are, by comparison, undesirable ranging from water to crime to repressive politics. I just noticed your location do you need no reminders.

Alaska and Oregon have high suicide rates (kind of a deterrent)

New York ( pollution, traffic, taxes and crime)

There are many measures to measure and your situation is worth investigating online and staying a week touring the places you might like before committing.

This is a lot of info but so is the great impact of moving
