I have been away from my dog for eleven days and my wife stated he is at the door waiting for me to come through. I will see him tomorrow. And I do believe he knows when I am having a hard time

Dogs are very intuitive when it comes to the emotional well being of their owners. They have to be as it is part of being a pack animal. Reading the emotional state of their 'leader' informs them on how the pack will function

I have this problem also especially of late cause it is fall (seasonal depression) what I do is I force myself to get up. I allow myself to stay in bed til 9am then anything after that I must be up dont have to be dressed just up I make coffee cause the kitchen is on the otherside of the house away form the bedroom
