Hi, I have felt more and more like a weirdo as I have increased in age. . Now, I am an almost 70 year old man who is homeless because he doesn't receive enough income to consistently pay rent, so I stay in a $90 a night motel, which is the cheapest price for a motel room in this town, I believe, and it takes both my income and that of my fellow homeless friend, for both of us to stay in the motel for 2 weeks each month, then we both sleep in my ol' 2012 Nissan Versa Hatchback for the rest a the month, and so the cycle a poverty continues. . We have been livin' like this for 4 and 1/2 years this past Saturday, the 13th, and there is no end in sight for us of this "lifestyle," or whatever you may want to call it!! . . Nobody with any power or authority to change this pattern has been willing to intervene and help us, so I can only assume that American society simply doesn't give a shit about us!! . . I will be 70 in January, and my friend Joyce will be 73 on this coming November 4th . . I am worried that one of us will die before we can get the help we need to get off these mean streets, leaving the other one way, way, way up Shit Creek with no paddle at all, then the other one of us will die, too, on the streets yo. . We both depend on each other for income, and if one of us dies, then the other will not have enough money to stay in a motel for 2 weeks outa a month yo, it will be more like ONE week simply due to lack of funds, very sadly and unfortunately . . Of course, we are both eventually gonna die, as we ALL are, of course, but it would be nice if we could both spend at least some part of our older years living continually inside a building of some sort. . Things are definitely not moving in that direction, though, very sadly, my friends, mi compadres, tomodachi!! . . Just sayin' and prayin'. . I never imagined anything like this in my younger years, but here IT IS, and the trap seems tightly shut and locked. . Please pray for a miracle to occur for us, and may God bless you!! . .
