Is it the same as depersonalization? To me there are days when I feel exhausted emotionally numb. Post exertion malaise. I heard it called. It might not be the same thing. Right now, Today I am resting bc i feel numb and have zero energy. Sometimes I wake up "low" but it passes. Hope this is helpful. Thank you for sharing this question
Yes it's the same as depersonalization.
It stems from being listless and having no motivation to do *anything*. But, it's a behavioral pattern that can be changed, as I'm slowly discovering.
The speedbumps are a b*tch on life's roads, slow down, breathe, accept who you are *inside*, the person who deserves love and happiness and peace of mind.
I can't tell you how to navigate them, still being somewhat under those effects a little. But I will tell you what my wife always pounds into my head, it's temporary. It just feels neverending. You got this, Jen!
Peace and hugs 🫂 🤗 ❤️ 🧡
Feeling disconnected or numb is actually a common experience with depression. While many people think depression just means feeling sad or angry, it can also manifest as feeling emotionally detached or experiencing a sense of emptiness. This numbness can make you feel isolated from others and your own emotions.
