Hi Mitchell, you know what's goin' on so ya know what you'll be needin' to do and that's a good thing, amigo!! . . My best peace, love, and good vibes da ya, Mitchell!! .... π Cool π Cat πΊ. .
I often wonder if it is my body telling me to slow down as I have a tendency of working more and more to try to mask a feeling I will work to the point of breaking down and then I let it stop me I know it is unhealthy but have a lot of pressures on myself these days which also means I need to push through
Nobody understands loss of volition. "Where there's a will, there's a way." No kidding, Jack! The problem is that THERE'S NOT THE WILL. Depression destroys the link between wanting and pursuing something. You might want to do those things, but you don't have the urge to take the steps necessary to do them.
When treatment addresses THAT, we might get somewhere. Meanwhile, you take solace, Anna, in knowing that you're doing the best you can, and that WE understand your situation perfectly. π€
Hi Anna, I have also been through ect treatments and every medication they could throw at me.. For a long time I just slept as much as I could to avoid the pain.. I couldn't function at all..Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and people who never went through it will never be able to understand it.. It is an invisible illness that no one else can see but it is very real.. My depression caused my wife to become very angry with me and I thought she was going to leave me at one point..I tried to explain to her that I had an illness and you don't yell at someone because they are sick.. She still doesn't understand it or let me talk to her about it so I keep it to myself.. We are stuck in a world of our own that others don't understand..
