From what I understand, unfortunately, we have a chemical imbalance in our brain/bodies that causes it. The meds β€œfix” the imbalance. So technically, no, this is something that we will live with the rest of our lives. You can live with it though. It takes a lot of time and patience.Hope this helps. πŸ˜ƒ

It can get better with time and the right meds and the right tool's. But it will not go away. I don't believe those people who say that they are cured of it. I think that there's more to depression. Anxiety real but can be better with time. And exercises and such.
