I though I was just depressed well I was but I never knew where it came from I had a great idea since my parents did not give me any self worth. So after going to a Psychologist and reading a book called "the gut tells the story" I have been feeling a little better.in the 1940's and fifties Depression was not accepted especially in Italian families
I had a childhood trauma.
Although it primarily affects the brain one would never think it had to do with food..it does
I was incested at age 8-12 plus I had a very private embarrassing health issue. As an adult, the health issue has reappeared and I'm triggered again.
Yes a lot of childhood trauma.
I hope that too Phyllis for having a problem early in our lives and nowhere to turn; since we are dependant on mom and dad to take us somewhere they didn't want to face the Psychiatryst or psychologist Our emotional help be damned..It's all in your head well no kidding mom and dad that's what I've been trying to tell you it is in my head
