Theresa, I have that feeling often. I think of it as anxiety, but "dread" is a better descriptive word. I think I got so used to feeling bad, day after day, for years, that I was programmed to actually dread the coming day. I could not find many things to look forward to in a positive way, so I am reluctant to even wake fully. I still battle this to some degree each morning but it's getting better.

Whoa. I just Googled "waking with dread," and there are loads of articles written by and for people who've experienced it.

Nothing in particular to share just yet, but I know what I'll be reading tonight!

that does happen to me every so often but most of the time I'm dreading taking the dog out and the pain I will be in.
