Some days are worst than others. It seems like you keep trying and don't see progress. What do you do? Who do you reach out to?

After balling my eyes out, I try to be gentle with myself and do some self-care (like basic hygiene, listen to calming music, pray, diffuse calming essential oils, eat something nutritious, drink warm herbal or green tea, sit in the backyard for a bit, get some sunshine on my face without SPF). I also make it a point to tell my provider how often I have them, since I take a med for vivid PTSD dreams.

Best wishes to you!

Every morning I wake up earlier than I am ready for. I am never looking forward to a new day. This is something I very much want to change. It is hard when there is so little that happens in your life that gives you any pleasure. I do walk every morning with my dog. This is a habit I have developed over four years now. It helps me to feel the muscles in my body moving, and feel the fresh air, especially if it is a little crisp or chilly. It especially helps with the brain fog I often wake up with. I also work puzzles and meditate, when I feel able. If I am feeling anxiety, I lay quietly and concentrate on my breathing. I feel the anxiety come and go. I try to relate it to any past experience that comes up, and feel whatever pain is there. This provides a release...feel it fully and let it go. It is a process, a slow one, but sometimes I feel a little lighter, a little more energy. Then I can make the effort to accomplish things and ultimately obtain a small sense of satisfaction.

Yes. I feel like that quite often, especially the past couple of months. Everything seems to be going wrong lately. Mostly with my mobile home needing repairs. First my roof now my furnace. My refrigerator also broke. I keep wondering what else could go wrong
