Lexapro
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I am on Lexapro for what l thought was seasonal depression, but it turns out it's more than that. I am on .5 mg, but it's doing nothing for me. Should I have my primary bump up the dosage or should l go on something else?

Always consult with your doctor about any medication πŸ‘πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜

I recently moved up to 10 MG. After a few weeks on new dose I noticed less negative thoughts and I can enjoy more activities than I could a month ago. My doctor said that the 5mg dose rarely works well, they start some patients on 5 to test for sensitivity and side-effects of the drug.

Lexapro didn't work for me at all no matter what the dosage.

Hi, it takes 5 to 7 days to get into your system. Then if you do thing it’s working. Then talk to your psychiatrist who prescribed it for you. Just a suggestion. Hugs
