Light Therapy For Depression, Dark Therapy For Mania. (And Other Methods Like This?)

how does dark and light therapy help the rest of you, that have used it?

i've used these methods for bipolar disorder for quite some time now, and they seem to help a great amount for mood maintenance. i've also read light therapy can help for unipolar/chronic depression in particular, as well as seasonal affective disorder.

do these methods help you as well? how well does it work? and if you haven't tried it, have you looked into it by research?

I think diet changes really help with depression.. I’ve tried this many times always with good success.. it’s a bummer that eating well is so expensive though .
