Does Your Depression Seem To Get Worse At Night?

Does Your Depression Seem To Get Worse At Night?

Lately it seems like I get more depressed in the evening. I may be having a good day all day then when the day is done it seems like depression comes creeping up on me seemingly for no reason. I was just wondering if anybody else has that problem.

I find my head is noiser at night. The background noise and constant buzz in my head keeps me awake! During streeful situations it gets worse too. At night I'm up and alone in my thoughts and my head becomes a prison!!!

@A MyDepressionTeam Member sunlight has a lot to do with warmth and energy that brings joy night brings darkness and loneliness!! Sometimes a bright candle that smells good can help I’ve hear lava lamps help haven’t tried one but candles do help me ! Sometimes get a fancy light with ur favorite color shade could help!! Put some up beat music on or watch a good movie!! Take deep breaths!!

Hi I feel the same way something about being alone at night makes me more depressed days are ok . I just take one day at time and try to think positive but it does not always work . I know how you feel so you are not alone.
