It takes time for the medication to fully get absorbed in by your body sounds like you need to be patient and give it some more time in any case make sure you let your doctor know about how you are doing,talk about it with him or her of any questions or concerns that you might have.

Wish I could answer this for you, but I can't. I had very very bad interactions with Lexapro. At first it began to work then it quit and reversed on me and gave me such bad thoughts of harming myself and since the instructions stated that you weren't supposed to just quit taking it, I went to my doctor and he doubled my dose. WRONG!! It doubled the thoughts in my head and I had a nervous breakdown, so I took matters into my own hands and never took another Lexapro to this date.

It takes about a month to work for the lexapro.
