I had a very good experience with it. It teaches you skills that you use in your daily life and how to control thoughts and change how you look at situations.

In my opinion it helps you to look at things in a way you never thought of before. However, it takes practice to do that it doesn't just happen. That's why I said it takes time. I hope you get to start it soon. There's lots of information online about it and books you can buy.
