I have 38 years living with depression and GAD. When I go into a depression, I have to deal with 'snap out of it' , depression does not exist' (said by someone who is a Christian). I have found that the only one that can help you is yourself. In my case I always had a wake up moment telling me that I now need to do something about it. That was the beginning of my healing process. It will differ from person to person. Having a good psychiatrist that understands you helps. But my experience with shrinks was not always good.

You have to experience new thi mgs
You know not everyone sees the same as others but just try dressing up and going for a walk until you meet the right one
You'll know they're right by their actions
If they accept you as you are then they will be like no other and you'll know trust what some say not everyone has the same feelings

You might want to look into a support group too. It’s one way to learn how to relate to people. Then, using what you’ve learned and, as @A MyDepressionTeam Member says, go slow and meet new people that can help you experience the things you’re missing.
