I have been using depression meds containing Citalopram for year and my weight has just gond up and up. Diets are very hard to follow as trying to lose any weight is slow and demotivating.
I have heard that meds containing Citalopram can make it very difficult to loose weight, is this true?
This has been my experience. I have read complaints of many people who gained significant weight on Citalopram. There are always exceptions, of course. I have cravings for carbs and sweets.
Yes. It is also hightened during bouts with mania.

I believe that I'm addicted to Masturbation but after talking to my doctor about it she says I'm not and that I'm normal.

I was diagnosed about 15 years ago and each episode gets worse. I'm in therapy, taking meds; in short I'm working very hard, but still struggling. Recently I heard that someone in their mid seventies took their own life. I'm 59 and terrified that I'll be struggling forever. Depression is such a dark place to live.
I agree. It's always with you just in varying degrees. I just got through one of the worst bouts I've ever had. Now, luckily, it is in the background again and not running my life.

I'm bipolar and have depression issues. I seem to bounce back and forth frequently. I have times my sex drive is so high, that's all I want to do. I do self medicate with marijuana which increases my sexual desires but it's even high without it. Not just regular sex either, risky sex with pretty much strangers. Is this just me or my condition?

Does being sexually abused as a child mean that my sex drive goes into overdrive when I’m feeling low?
I always feel super horny when I’m feeling low.
And can do the deed multiples of times a day!!!
And it’s not normal because I don’t feel good after like you normally would!
