Major Depressive Disorder NON-SSRI Anti-Depressants That Actually Work??
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've tried many different meds over the years, mostly SSRI's, with little to no effect.
I've also tried Wellbutrin, which made me totally insane, and just tried Lithium, which I also reacted badly to (intense itching all over my body & extreme nausea).
I'm just looking for some other medications I can ask my doctor about.

not all meds work for all people- that is why they keep inventing new ones! Do not give up- I have been taking different ones over the years and some were awful and most were so-so. You may even have to try a combination of meds to get any relief. Keep working with your doctor.
