Yes I did for years, to suddenly realise this drug isnt working so well now,, time to up the dose, or change. Only you can take control of your life. I was on citlapram 60 then put down to 40 because of the health risk of heart problems. It was a slow, but gradual decline, from some days doing something, to not moving off the sofa, and feeling like my life was ebbing away. I broke down at the side of the road, crying my eyes, out, in that, my life was a mess, and my family was not what I wanted my children to be like, they just gave up on me, I was a failure, then changed drugs, over a year, it improved in that I was cleaning the cupboards out, no longer tearful, and if they changed the brand that seemed to matter and set me back a month, so told everyone, keep it the same. Now, I have started, going out, and helping daughter, but Im not giving up! yes she dogs me down, sometimes, but thats her being hurt by the last person, on citilapram I was, this is the new me, Im not hiding. Im trying, and going to join a fitness and swimming and trying to get fitter. I hate my body. Its like I have just woke up from a bad dream. So those are the changes you can make when the drugs are working!!!
Lethargy and loss of interest in doing anything are symptoms of depression - so you aren't alone! I used to sometimes just sit on the couch and stare at nothing for hours on end.

ALL THE TIME. It's a kind of lazy feeling, but it goes beyond that. I just feel blah, like a lump of unbaked dough...I don't want to move from my chair, and the only energy I have is to browse Facebook or watch TV. I've lost all desire to do things I used to love; like jewelry making, drawing, or reading. It just takes too much energy. It's an uphill battle.
