The same way you faced them before, be stong, don't be shy let them know what is going on with you. And know there is this website to share your problem with others that have the same issues. Seek help, from someone, and don't be afraid of what others will think of you!! If you need to chat I try to get on here as much as possible. :).

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I think the therapy isn't working because if it was i wouldn't have tried to end my life again...but then it could just be the depression talking ..not wanting me to get better
What is DBT?
I know what you mean about having a relationship...I feel so useless frustrated angry and upset with myself I can't see how anyone would want me....I don't want me...but I'm fed up being alone at the same time

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I have been seeing a therapist for 6 months but feel it's not working and I've just wasted a load of money I don't really have...doctors have put me back on meds...I find it difficult to tell my family how i really feel as I know it hurts them, especially as they think I was getting better...this was my third attempt.I don't have any friends as I have shut myself away over the years due to my anxiety and panic attacks

I attempted suicide a few months ago. I felt the same way. I was embarrassed and ashamed, and yet upset that I "failed". When I was in the hospital I kept thinking what I would tell my family when I saw them. So I just had to play it by ear, and it was fine. You have so much on your mind right now, and a lot of healing to do, having to accept what you did and recover slowly. The very last thing that matters is what others will think or what you have to tell them. Let it just happen as it happens, and things will flow naturally.
