Anxiety And Depression
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am currently on Cipralex for anxiety and depression. It isn't working as well as it used to. I have been getting panic attacks lately, and they are slowly getting worse, and they always send me into a depression. I see a social worker, and I find that it is not helping very much anymore either.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

This is key to having some control over your anxiety knowing your triggers I've been suffering with anxiety and depression for over 20 years now and still don't know what brings it on I'm either ill or I'm not theirs no 1/2 measures but it's not all doom and gloom I've been well now not ecstatic but content for over a year now but it's always in the back of my mind, much love to everyone on the site and trust me it will get easier ❤❤ xxxxx

There's a good app that mat be worth downloading it's called headspace, it's for meditating. I usually find it hard to switch off but after I have used this app I feel more relaxed and my thoughts are clearer xx

Talk to your social worker to see if they can offer you any additional support and make an appointment with your doctor as you made need your meds changed/ reduced /increased. Have you looked online for any relaxation and breathing techniques? Hugs xx
