How Do I Deal With A Supervisor Who Doesn't "believe In Anxiety And Depression", And Defaming Me As "unbalanced" & Neurotic To Our Bosses?
Creating paper trails in these circumstances is always a good thing to do...
Also I'd recommend you document all your dealings you have with this supervisor and anyone else that is adding to it with their defamatory comments etc.
I'm going through similar situation and have done this. My legal representation has been so pleased I documented everything.
I agree, this has got to be illegal. I would consult a lawyer if it was me. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect!
What kind of union do you have there? I live in Canada and teach and if they were to try that here my union would take them to town for discrimination/ workplace abuse of power. What kind of human rights system is there in place to help, perhaps try emailing a lawyer?
Is that not classed as discrimination or workplace bullying? Take it further, if you had a broken bone they would not question.
Should I Declare My Depression To My Employer. Will It Help? Anyone That Have Declared To Their Employer?
Have You Ever Been Ashamed Of What You Are Or Ashamed Of Living With Depression (Anxiety)?
