WORK - - - I was 'lucky I left the professional work place when I was 52. That was 18 years ago. They boxed me into a role and getting out was the only answer. I was so sick of the system. Now I "work" as a volunteer. I love the people and the work is hard work. Physically taxing. Still the professional workplace was a struggle in retrospect. At age 26 I ended up in the psych ward for a month then back to work. That pattern repeated itself 7 years later. I don't know where I'm going with this but work whatever form it takes is necessary for one's self esteem. Least I think so.
