I have medication resistant depression. Mdd, anxiety and panic attacks. I tend to self isolate most of the time but it doesn't bother me. I like being at home alone. Does anyone else feel this way?

I love being alone cuddled up in my comforter either on my phone, watching TV or preferably both.

I do not like isolating. However there are days where I have nothing planned or anything that needs to be done and I spend them alone in my apartment. I was agoraphobic for ten years so I am used to being alone so that is not hard to cope with. I feel the hardest part on those days is having no one to talk with. I love talking and listening to other people’s life’s stories. As my life is so uniquely different than many people. I find their adventures and lives interesting. I also find joy in seeing them light up that some one is interested in their life journey. I also learn a lot from their stories.

I do both then but more just wanting to be left alone.

Yes! I think self-isolating is keeping yourself away from people when you'd like to be with them. Solitude isn't loneliness--it's preferring your own company to that of others.

When I'm lonely, I come to mdt. When I want solitude, I don't want external stimulation. Some days I cycle through both in rapid succession.
