How do you recover from this dual diagnosis?

I personally have not used meth. My biggest substance abuse is using pot. I do however, seen many people spiral down when medicating with meth. It is a proven fact that this substance fries your brain. I admire you for going through recovery, numerous times. I'm not walking in your shoes, however, if it was me, and I made it through recovery, I would not jeopardize my work and time I put in to recover.
If you recover, I would stay away from the meth. That crap is made in someone's house from everything under the kitchen sink! Though you may "feel different", it is changing major chemistry in your brain.
You also could be self medicating because you are on the wrong medication. Is this something you could speak to your doc about? If no, you may be seeing the wrong person.
I'm wishing you nothing but the best!! Stay strong and NEVER give up. I'm always here if you feel comfortable talking. Thank you for sharing some of your story. I know that is never easy. -XX-

I have bi polar and PTSD. EMDR therapy did wonders for the flashbacks and nightmares. I don't have any experience with substance addiction though. Best of luck!

The answer is the right meds in the right dose. Find the doctor who knows his field, don't stop until you find one.Do it ASAP. Find the strength within yourself to stop substances, its crucial.Sometimes we don't know how really strong we are.
Wishing you all the best.
