Used to take Viibryd. It worked well against my depression, but made my ears ring really bad. Sometimes the ringing would pulse so strongly that my eyes would involuntarily close. Very scary when it first happened. I thought I was having a stroke. I eventually switched to Prozac because Viibryd was too expensive.
I'm treading water...
I tried it but couldn't afford the high price and went on a generic. I felt more like a normal person when I took it. I am sorry it is not working for you now. Talk to your doctor. You might need… read more
Just wondering if that's the cause...psych meds. I've been on them (many different ones) for nearly 20 years for major depressive disorder and anxiety. I am 40 years old and the last couple years have seemed cloudy for me. I am definitely not as sharp as I used to be! Currently on Viibryd, Abilify and Provigil. Thank you in advance!
I ha e been on meds since I was 21 I am now 47 I feel like over the last 4 years that I can't think. Words I know I know. I keep forgetting things all the time. I hate it.
UPDATE
I had to see a psychiatrist at IBH because of Medicare laws and was anxious about it but after arriving I found her to be very thorough in her job and we spent over an hour mostly discussing all of the medications I am on. Parr no problem as we are talking about a lot of medicines here.
Hugs and enjoy your day

Is anyone taking Trintellix/vortioxetine? How long? And how was it for you? My main worry is getting serotonin syndrome from it, and also if it makes you gain weight faster?
Lexapro and Lamictal were the magic combo for me. When I was in mclean hospital, the #1 psych hospital in the country, I went in on Trintellix and the doc said she never uses it for patients because… read more
