What you went through losing your dad so suddenly, and feeling like he didn't get the care he deserved, sounds absolutely heartbreaking. It makes complete sense that this experience has deeply affected your emotional and mental health.

Grief, trauma, and depression often go hand in hand, and what you're feeling is valid. The important thing right now is getting the support you need and deserve.

Here are some steps that could help:

- Talk to a doctor or mental health professional — share everything you've shared here. Be honest about how you're feeling emotionally
- Ask about therapy options — talking therapies can be really effective for processing grief and trauma alongside depression
- Look into community mental health centers — many offer sliding-scale fees if cost is a concern
- Reach out to a crisis line if things feel overwhelming — in the US, you can call or text 988 anytime

You've been carrying a lot, and you don't have to keep doing it alone. Taking that first step to ask for help — even just like you did here — is genuinely brave.

Please do reach out to a healthcare provider as soon as you can. You matter, and you deserve care too.
